Check-in/Check-out (CICO) is an intervention commonly used in school settings. Research has shown positive effects of CICO on low-level externalizing problems such as disruptions and off-task behavior. However, less is known about the impact of CICO for students with internalizing challenges. Outcomes, lessons learned, and implications from a recent pilot project will be shared
